Oct. 22nd, 2009 05:43 am*bolts up in bed in the middle of the night, with a gasping breath that may be audible to his dormmates if they aren't deeply asleep*
*sits up for another few minutes, glances out the window at the sliver of new moon, white and cold through the clear glass... starts to lean back and sits up again, curling his arms around his knees*
*finally reaches for his journal, accidentally knocking it off his nightstand with a thump; reaches down for it, gets a papercut, bites back a curse, huffs and pulls the covers back up, obstinately leaving the book on the floor*
*will be visibly bleary and tired in the morning, as it's taking him a long, long time to get back to sleep......*
[[The fall accidentally set his journal for 'voice', so anyone could have heard it hit the floor (or, for that matter, anything else that goes on in the dorm for the rest of the night).]]
